Ambassador Bird Tuesdays
at Bird Treatment and Learning Center
Tuesdays, June 10th - August 25th
Join us for a one-hour presentation featuring an Ambassador Bird! You might see a Great Horned Owl in flight, a Bald Eagle or Snowy Owl taking a stroll, a Peregrine Falcon playing with her favorite toy, or the antics of a Black-billed Magpie. Each program will be a one-of-a-kind experience!
Programs are every Tuesday, June 10th - August 26th, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Bird Treatment and Learning Center, 15510 Old Seward Hwy., Anchorage.
Programs are outdoors, under a tent. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Admission:
$10 for ages 12 and over
Free for children under the age of 12
flying free annual auction: alaska’s artists for alaska’s wild birds
Thursday, July 17th, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Alaska Botanical Garden
Join us at our annual auction to support Bird TLC's rehabilitation and education programs, and Alaska's wild birds.
Enjoy a summer evening at the Alaska Botanical Garden at its peak bloom while nibbling on delectable appetizers from Alaska Berry and Board's charcuterie, sipping custom-made mocktails from Buzzed Beetle, enjoying a flute and clarinet duo from the University of Alaska’s Music Education Department, visiting with local artists as they create works of art, and bidding in a silent auction of nature-inspired art.
